Surface Preparation
Contaminated concrete is cleaned or removed, as chemicals soaked into the slab can stop the coating from bonding. The floor is then ground, repaired and primed with PRIME 100 epoxy floor primer. Wall-floor joints and drains get extra attention, as spills collect there.
How It Is Applied
- Clean, prepare and prime the floor.

Coving and Joints
Chemical spills run to the edges, so wall joints, plinths and drain edges are where floors fail first. We form smooth coves at these points and carry the chemical-resistant floor coating up the wall, so spills cannot get behind the coating.
Care and Maintenance
Wash off chemical spills as soon as possible, even though the floor can handle them. Do not leave strong chemicals pooled for long periods. Inspect the floor near tanks, pumps and drains regularly, and repair any damage early so chemicals cannot reach the concrete under the chemical-resistant floor coating.
