Why Leakage Keeps Coming Back
Most leakage problems in Karachi return because only the visible damage is repaired. A stained ceiling gets repainted, a damp wall gets a new coat, and a few months later the patch is back. Water travels through cracks, joints, pipes and slabs, so the place where the damage shows is often far from where the water enters.
As a waterproofing company that is also a paint and construction chemical shop, Paint Point looks at the whole picture. We inspect the roof, tanks, bathrooms and walls, find the real source, and recommend a system that suits the surface — cementitious coatings, liquid membranes, elastomeric roof coats or sealants.
Once the leakage is stopped, we can repair the plaster and repaint the area, so you get one complete solution instead of calling a different contractor for every step.

What Affects the Cost of Waterproofing?
Waterproofing cost depends on the problem, not just the area. After a free inspection, your quotation is based on:
- Area — roof, wall, tank or bathroom size in square feet
- Source of leakage — roof, pipes, tank, ground water or a neighbour's wall
- Surface condition — cracks, damaged plaster, old coatings or tiles
- System — cementitious, membrane, elastomeric coating or sealants
- Tile work — whether tiles need removing and relaying
- Finishing — plaster repair, putty and repainting after the fix

Waterproofing Questions
How long does roof waterproofing last?
It depends on the system and how well the roof was prepared. A properly applied elastomeric coating or membrane typically protects a roof for several years, while cementitious systems under tiles can last much longer. Regular checks before the monsoon help catch small problems early.
Can bathroom leakage be fixed without breaking the tiles?
Sometimes. Leaks through tile joints or around floor traps can often be fixed by regrouting with epoxy grout and sealing joints. If the waterproofing under the tiles has failed, the tiles usually need to be removed so the floor can be treated properly. We tell you which applies after the inspection.
What is the best time to waterproof a roof in Karachi?
The dry months before the monsoon are best, because the roof must be completely dry for the waterproofing to bond. Waterproofing during or right after rain is not recommended.
Can you stop seepage from a neighbour's wall or the ground?
In many cases, yes. When water comes from a neighbour's side or from the ground, we treat the wall from the inside and use systems designed to resist water pressure from the other side, such as cementitious coatings.
Do you only sell products or also do the work?
Both. You can buy waterproofing products from our shop with advice on how to use them, or our team can inspect the site and apply the complete system for you.
Does roof waterproofing also reduce heat?
Some roof coatings are both waterproof and heat-reflective, so they help with leakage and indoor temperature at the same time. See our heat proofing services for roof cooling options.
